1. Is your current web provider hard to get in contact with?
   
   This is by far the biggest complaint we hear from potential clients who are looking to move on from their current web company. We hear of web providers ignoring requests from their customers on the daily. If you can’t reach your web company…that’s a serious problem. Updates can’t be made, designs can’t be altered, new functionality can’t be built – everything will stay stagnate until you are eventually forced to rebuild with another provider.

2. Is your current web provider not meeting deadlines?
   
   With business, timing is EVERYTHING. There are probably stacks of files on your desk right now that needed to be completed yesterday. We know how it works. The unfortunate part is, a lot of web providers don’t see your business priorities as being their own. We have heard hundreds of horror stories from new clients about how their previous web provider missed company deadlines, causing them both time and money.

Unfortunately (or not unfortunately for us), this is a huge issue with web providers who create sites using templates, such as WordPress. Working with template based websites restricts how and what can be done on your site. Equally – there are several other web providers out there who cannot create exactly what you want because they lack the knowledge to do so.
